This is a professional service which allows you to market your farm meats without having to go to the expense of building your own on farm butchery facility. Our EC licensed Abattoir and Cutting Plant is fully BRC Global Food Standard accredited and is able to process meat that is:-

Our butchers are specialists at their job and will process your meat to match your exact cutting requirements. If you need any help & guidance regarding the butchery of your carcases our butchers are on hand to advise you at any time or alternatively download our helpful Carcase Butchery Instruction guides.
Please note: If you simply require the slaughter and basic butchery of a carcase for your own home consumption with basic packing – a discounted rate is available. Ensors is open 5 days a week for processing. All private processing has to be formally booked in with our Procurement Team who will make every effort to ensure that the Delivery of Livestock and Collection of meat is scheduled to suit your needs. If transportation is difficult we can even arrange for your livestock to be collected from your holding and the finished meat to be delivered back to you – subject to arrangement and economic viability. ADDED VALUE PRODUCTS Ensors are able to produce added value products from your meat if you would like to offer your customers a wider product range than the standard service which includes joints, dice and mince. Please note we have a minimum quantity per flavour of 10Kg/20lb. Alternatively – we are happy to make meat products using your own seasonings or ingredients provided that they conform to all necessary food safety standards. Bacon Curing Our bacon is a semi traditional dry cure and we are able to cure pork cuts for larger bacon joints or slicing it into rashers of bacon if you require. ADDITIONAL SERVICES MATURATION Please note that if you wish to resale mince from your carcase to customers specific rules on the maturation of meat will have to be followed – please enquire with our Farm Butchery Team. BEEF BOOKING IN LIVESTOCK FOR PRIVATE SLAUGHTER & BUTCHERY All Livestock delivered to us must be booked in by prior arrangement BEEF

Butchery Instructions should be emailed to Farmbutchery@ensors-ltd.co.uk on the day your livestock is delivered to the abattoir or handed into the Procurement Team on the day your stock is delivered.
